You will view professional musicians demonstrating their instruments and introducing you to maqamat, the melodic scales. Next Ranya will go into great detail during the improvisational skills section, covering the use of energy, focus and dynamics; hands and arms, eye gaze, and placement and posture appropriate to working with taqasim. The last section focuses on improvisation drills so you can practice on different instruments, with and without rhythmic accompaniment.
