Create this dress for less than $145
or the entire look for less than $440!
|
 |
 |
Assemble your own version of our popular Minya Dress
in minutes using easily coordinated pieces from our Off
the Nile line. By combining two Minya Glitter Skirts with
our new Minya Sleeves, you'll have a full-coverage
dress that pairs wonderfully with other costume pieces
already in your closet. And, best of all, this versatile
costume makeover can be quickly deconstructed to
allow you to wear any of the pieces separately!
|
 |
 |
Items you'll need:
For the dress:
- Two Minya Glitter Skirts (NL07-22S) $64.95
- Minya Sleeves (NL10-02SL) $14.95
To complete the look:
- Bra and belt set or other accessories
(see options below)
|
 |
 |
Directions:
Put on one of the Minya Glitter Skirts, positioning the
leg slit wherever you prefer. Turn the other skirt upside
down, put it on over your head, and situate the
waistband on top of the other skirt's waistband. With
the skirt's leg slit in front, place the two sides of the slit
over your shoulders, gathering the two ends behind
your neck. Take the hem on the opposite side of the
skirt and pull it up your back so that it meets the other
two ends of the skirt behind your neck (the side seam
should be running straight up your back). Stitch together.
Put on the Minya Sleeves; for each sleeve, stitch half of
the upper edge to the hem of the skirt that drapes on
either side of you. To finish off the look, accessorize with
a complementary bra and belt set.

 |
For more options:
- Instead of using a bra and belt set, try accessorizing the
dress with an embellished bra and hip scarf for a simpler
look. You can experiment with different tops and belts to
achieve different looks.
- Create a unique Minya top with one skirt and the sleeve
set and pair it with a different skirt or pair of pants.
- For more coverage, twist the top skirt around so that the
leg slit opens on your back.
