Step 1: Slip on the skirt and tie the Peacock Shawl around your hips with the knot in front. For your top, gather the veil lengthwise and wrap it around your back covering the back of your bra, under your armpits and crisscross it in front at chest-level, making sure to cover your bra cups.
Step 2: Next, wrap the veil ends around your bra straps a couple of times leaving a drape hanging equally on each side in the back. Tuck the veil slightly under your bra in the back and front to make sure that it will not slip off. Safety pinning the veil to your bra is optional.
This particular costume has a light, airy feeling that can be used for fusion style music. They are beautiful for troupe stage productions. Have each member of your troupe wear a different scarf and skirt / veil color combinations for a coordinated, colorful look.
