Coin Head Wrap

Instructions:
Step 1:
Open the coin scarf. Place it on your head with the center point hanging at the center of your forehead. (You may want to initially drape and hand sew the beaded tassels to the scarf edge so they don’t hang down.)
Step 2:
Next, bring the back edge of the scarf overhead, aligning the coin edge with the pointed edge (stagger it a little so both rows of coins show).
Step 3:
Holding your scarf securely in place, (you may want to bobby pin your scarf in place at the temples) wrap one side of your scarf all the way around to the other side of your head. (Make sure it conceals the back edge of your scarf.)
Step 4:
Next, tie and knot both ends together by your ear.
The result:
A simply and inexpensive head wrap for tribal or folkloric performances.
