Dressy Drape Sleeves
Designer: Mary Kertzman, IN

ITEMS YOU'll NEED:
Any of our small, triangular scarves will work, but Dahlal recommends:

Instructions:

Step 1: Fold your scarf in half, all points meeting, and lie it flat. Cut along the folded edge starting at the bottom point and following up through the center of the top edge of the scarf. Finish all raw edges by machine or by hand, making sure you also secure all beaded crocheted threads that were cut at the bottom and top.

Step 2: Fold each piece in half, wrong sides together. Pin together the side of the triangle that has the one unbeaded edge, making sure all edges are even. Stitch by hand or by machine using a zipper foot starting at the bottom point and sew right along the edge. Leave an opening of approximately 11" for the arm hole.

Step 3: Slip each sleeve on and pin the top point to your bra costume strap. (Make sure the unbeaded edge is in the back.) Hand stitch in place.

In a short period of time you can add a professional looking finished accessory to your costume wardrobe.
