Hard to Find Correct Fit

I had purchased the red body stocking in L/XL and it is too big - now I ordered the S/M and it is too tight. I can barely get the arms adjusted and I don't have large arms. I certainly wish they came in S, M, L, XL so I could get a good fit. I need a true medium. I guess I will have to pay someone to take the L/XL in - I really love the body stocking and desperately need the red but can't fine a good fit. Woe is me?

It fits pretty well, is a little snug but the next size up would be way too big.
