A video workshop introducing the basics of American tribal style belly dance. Suitable for beginners as well as intermediate dancers looking for a review. Featuring a warm-up, a breakdown and drill of each movement, a full review using simple combinations and transitions, and finally a performance by Fat Chance. Steps taught include figure 8, ribcage and torso isolations, bodywaves, bellyrolls, arms, shimmies and more. Music selections are from Sirocco I, Drumsongs, Rhythm of the Dance and Tribal Dance, Tribal Drums. Running time: 75 minutes.
